Douglas Hoppe, DDS
Dr. Hoppe was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated valedictorian from Swan Valley High School in 1995. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Michigan State University in 1999.
After graduating from MSU, Dr. Hoppe worked as an analytical chemist at the Dow Chemical Company for one year. He then completed his dental training at the University of Michigan in 2004. While in dental school, he married Stephanie, his high school sweetheart. Stephanie teaches biology at Grass Lake High School. They welcomed healthy fraternal twins into the world in January 2008. They named their daughter Taylor and son Zachary. They added a son (Michael) to their family in August 2009.
Dr. Hoppe started his dental career as an associate dentist at Springcrest Family Dentistry in Jackson, Michigan, for two years. He then took over the dental practice of Bruce Curry DDS in May of 2006. Dr. Hoppe is a member of the Jackson District Dental Society, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is an active member of dental study clubs in both Jackson and Lansing. In 2007, Dr. Hoppe completed additional training from the Pankey Dental Institute in Florida. He is also an active member of the Eaton Rapids Rotary Club.
